Train route: FD 264 from Vienna West Station to Strasbourg (-Paris East). Car sequence numbers 103, 104, and 105. The cars look as they did in 1987.

Product description

Model:The interior details of the Marklin 42894 FD Mozart Passenger Car Set 2 (Insider 2023) are in multiple colors. All of the cars have factory-installed LED interior lighting. A buffer capacitor is built into each car to bridge over intermittent spots in the track without current. The cars have operating, current-conducting close couplers. The interior lighting works in conjunction with the dining car from the 42893 set. The assigned car sequence must be maintained for this. The roofs, side walls, underbodies, and skirting are specific to the types of cars. All of the cars have type Y0270 S trucks without anti-roll devices and without magnetic brakes. There are imprinted car route signs and sequence numbers. Restroom downpipes are included separately as parts to be installed on the cars.

The minimum radius for operation is 360 mm / 14-3/16". Length over the buffers approximately 84.6 cm / 33-5/16".

The 42894 passenger car set is being produced in 2023 in a one-time series only for Insider Club members.
