The digital coupling upgrade set consists of 2 couplers with a digital decoder that has confimation (feedback) capabilities.

Set includes 1 multi protocol special decoder for AC and DC and 2 couplers. The couplers can only be operated properly with this decoder. The operation with different decoders may cause damages at the couplers. For 8 pole interfaces NEM 652. Automatic driving current recognition Motorola/DCC or analogue DC/AC. Automatic driving level recognition 14/28/128 levels.

Charlie's Tip: This decoder/coupler set can be used in just about any locomotive that has an 8-pin decoder socket, and NEM pockets for the couplers. It works in 2-rail DCC systems, and also with Marklin Motorola, your regular Marklin digital. It will work with all Marklin digital controllers, including the Mobile Stations and Central Stations.
