This set is for converting many Märklin H0 locomotives with larger design flat-style commutator motors to the five-pole, high-efficiency motor. The set consists of a high-efficiency motor in different designs and installation hardware.
 

Charlie's Tip: Open your locomotive, and check the headlights on either end. In older locomotive, you may still see a screw in light bulb, with the lampholder grounded to the locomotive frame. If that is the case, you may need new lampsockets, they will fit into your current screw in fittings. The item number is Marklin 276770. In that case, you will also need the 2-pin lightbulbs Marklin 610080.

No decoder included! Charlie recommends the ESU MFX (61600) or ESU Lokpilot V4.0 (54610)
